Farah Sara Kurnik

Farah Sara Kurnik aka Liara T’Soni (2000) is a visual artist who works in the field of graphic design, scenography and video. She is currently studying at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, majoring in graphic and media engineering. She has created many graphic identities of current Slovenian and foreign musicians, music events and exhibitions, within which she also takes on the role of VJ. Among other things, she is interested in experimenting with the medium of digital collage, in which she explores various artefacts of speculative reality. Her interests also extend to the fields of industrial design, new technologies, 3D sculpting and modeling, stage design and scenography, which blur the boundaries between the artificial and the organic and influence the notion of the human. In 2021 she participated in the 34th Biennial of Graphic Arts: Iskra Delta and in the same year socreated and curated a series of musical events Bilanca in Cukrarna Bar. In 2022 she created the visual identity in a form of art instalations and videomaterials for a theater play Zadnji naj ugasne luč in the Prešeren Theatre Kranj in collaboration with the FrešTreš collective and created visual identity, scenography and video materials for a theatre play Da te ni sram Ljubljana. She is a part of Ljubljana based collective Nimaš Izbire.
