Vizualno vseobsegajoč in neobvladljiv svet umetniškega dua Uno.Tisto in Jureta Suliča nas tokrat popelje do dna vodnjaka.
Videoigra “All above will remain. All below will wash away.” deluje kot arhivski labirint, poln spletnih referenc, ikoničnih političnih dogodkov in simbolov ideologij preteklega desetletja.

Visually dense and unruly world of artist duo Uno.Tisto and Jure Sulič takes us to the bottom of a well. Users must descend through various historical layers, where they encounter ghosts of the past, echoes of internet culture, and nostalgic memories that have not yet sunk into oblivion.
The video game “All above will remain. All below will wash away.” takes us through an archival labyrinth filled with online references, iconic political events and symbols of the ideologies of the past decade. Level by level, the question arises of how we came to find ourselves in a period of permanent crisis; yet the authors do not fall into the trap of nostalgic sentimentality, but rather use collective memory as a tool for reflecting on the current social situation.
Through an interweaving of complex visual references to the past, the artists offer insight into the historical echoes that continue to shape our present, while dissecting the empty promises of the capitalist system. The player must decipher what is a construct of the imagination, what is a product of collective memory filled with ideals and nostalgia, and what is the actual reality in which we live in. But it soon becomes clear that the game offers no way out. It traps us in an endless loop, yet at the same time, this glimpse into the past forces us to ask ourselves what kind of future we actually want.
